The greatest virtue of man is perhaps curiosity ~Anatole France~

"Spring is going on with joyful enthusiasm" - John Muir

John Muir challenged conventional society until his last days, constantly reinventing and embracing what he believed to be America's most important asset, the vast untamed wilderness.  His goal, his personal passion, was being with nature and bringing the woods, in all its grandeur, to all people in the most natural way possible; through the preservation of land.

Within his quest he found peace within himself, within his own personal spirit, and his dream protected much of our natural landscapes.  I champion his sentiment and I am slowly learning to embrace mother natures great gifts.  From the fragrant blossoms on the apple trees to the germination of a sunflower seed; being mesmerized by natural beauty is what keeps us young and reinvigorates our lives.

"Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul." -John Muir-
