Primo Pesto

“Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.”

-Ralph Waldo Emerson-

The patience of the growing season is starting to pay dividends.  The large leaf basil is being blended with oil, nuts, salt, and garlic to produce the iridescent glow that only fresh pesto can create.  The yellow pear, sun gold, and cherry tomatoes are ripening under the summer sun.  The grape arbor and sunflowers and poppy add color and texture to the landscape.  The patience of spring and summer makes way for the bounty of fall and the indulgence of winter.
